Biography

Rodolfo Cinel is a singer and composer from São Paulo. Graduated in Music Production from EM&T School of Music and Technology , his musical career began in 2016, working as a studio assistant in one of the biggest studios in the country. He worked with Heavy Metal/Hard Rock artists for 2 years. After this experience, he felt unmotivated, and decided to abandon music. In the same period, Rodolfo began a new stage in his life, and began his therapy with a therapeutic assistant. It was through this experience that he transformed as an artist. He discovered his talent for singing and producing without any pressure or discomfort.

Rodolfo Cinel found in American Folk an identity to express himself. Influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie, the artist discovered the foundation of his art, which mixes social criticism and soft melodies. But as a Brazilian artist, he felt the need to bring his roots, and brought some regional music to his “Tempero Folk”. Great Brazilian artists such as Alceu Valença and Raul Seixas showed the musician the way to combine his roots with his own style.

After years, he started writing songs that reflected his moment at the time, and gradually his love for music returned.

In 2020, he released 2 singles, The Devil I Know and My Magical Knife produced by the artist himself. The songs feature musician Gabriel Dellilo from Avenoar on acoustic guitars. The first reflects one of the most difficult moments of his life, where his dreams are destroyed and his soul sold. The song My Magical Knife, on the other hand, reflects a mescaline trip, in which his entire ordeal is represented, from religious experiences to moments of depression. For the release of the first single, a video clip was produced directed by Pedro Costa da Coqueiro Filmes. The singles caught the attention of several media outlets online.

During 2021, the artist dedicated his time to the production of his first EP, “The Rise or Fall of Rodolfo Cinel” produced by Alyson Borges from Cavalo Estúdio . The repertoire covers important and controversial subjects such as politics and religion, without fear of making mistakes. The EP was released at the beginning of 2022, and received prominence in the digital press. During the same year, he began to perform live, showing his entire repertoire.

For the year 2023, the artist has prepared the release of a trilogy of singles, recorded and produced at his Home Studio, in São Paulo/SP. There are three acoustic songs, with a more popular look, but without leaving the Folk side aside. The singles are on the artist's first full album, “Ritual”. The songs explore the concept of the ritual of life that every human being goes through. Unrequited love, difficult days at work and the problems of anxiety currently experienced are some of the themes covered by the singer.

In early 2024, the musician released his first series of cover videos Little Romeo Vol. I in which the artist revisits Folk style classics, and some unusual songs influential in the artist's unique style.
